CLEARFIELD — Taven Swartz pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out seven while allowing three hits, as Clearfield High baseball blanked Tooele 4-0 on Tuesday.

Jake Ross batted 2 for 3 and drove in one for Clearfield (4-4). Logan Fenn hit an RBI double, and Swartz and Ryan Frei each hit an RBI single.

BONNEVILLE 11, MORGAN 1

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Jet Hirschi hit a two-run home run as Bonneville downed Morgan in five innings.

Wade Larsen hit a two-run single for Bonneville (4-3). Jaxon Hymas and Kaycee Parkhurst each doubled. Andrew Hansen pitched a complete game with three hits and four strikeouts.

George Jensen hit a single and scored a run for Morgan (4-3). Luke Bauerle and Benton Palmer each added a hit.

BEAR RIVER 8, GREEN CANYON 3

NORTH LOGAN — Gehrig Marble batted 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs as Bear River opened region play with a win at Green Canyon.

Talon Summers batted 3 for 4 with a double for Bear River (5-3, 1-0 Region 11). Brooks Drollinger went 2 for 3 with a double and drove in one. Easton Goodliffe and Holden Potter each added two hits. Degan Rigby pitched five innings, allowing six hits and six strikeouts in the win.

DAVIS 9, CLEARFIELD 8

CLEARFIELD — Davis plated two runs in the top of the seventh to complete a comeback Monday at Clearfield.

Max Hunter hit two doubles and drove in three for Davis (4-0). Wally Grant batted 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Tyson Baggett and Jaxon Marble each had two singles and Seth Jarmin doubled. Spencer Cannon earned the win in 2 2/3 relief innings.

Jon Olson went 2 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs for Northridge (5-2). Tytan Redd batted 3 for 4 with a double. Jaxon Fresques added a triple and a double.

WEST JORDAN — Layton scored the winning run in the top of the seventh inning in a win Monday at Copper Hills.

Eli Anderson batted 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for Layton (3-0). Emilio Cedeno hit a two-run triple. Boston Johns tripled and doubled. Fish Manning earned the win in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

BRIGHAM CITY — Ashton Burton batted 3 for 3 with a home run, a double and three RBIs as Box Elder beat Tooele on Monday.

Landon Golman went 3 for 3 with a double and drove in two for Box Elder (4-5). KJ Argyle batted 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Golman earned the win in one inning of work.

HILLCREST 14, BEN LOMOND 4

OGDEN — Makiah Muhammad batted 2 for 3 with two RBIs for Ben Lomond (0-2) in a loss Monday to Hillcrest. Kai Langston added two hits and Kaysen Reeves drove in one.

ROY — Quincy Johnson batted 3 for 4 with a home run, a double and four RBIS to lead Roy past Woods Cross (0-2, 0-2 Region 5).

Kylee Weitzel went 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI for Roy (1-7, 1-1 Region 5). Lorelai Sherrod hit a two-run triple and Addison Gibby hit a two-run single. Delaney Jackson earned the win with six hits and three strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings.

CLEARFIELD — Justy Prichard batted 3 for 4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs as Box Elder won at Clearfield.

PLEASANT VIEW — Kendall Strasburg batted 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, and got the win with one hit and four strikeouts over 3 1/2 innings in the circle, in a win Monday over Bonneville.

Olivia Boswell hit 3 for 4 with a double for Weber (2-5). Logan Howell batted 2 for 3 with a double and drove in three. Isabella Bird hit an RBI double.

Annie Stevenson batted 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs for Bonneville (6-1). Aya Larson went 2 for 5 and drove in two. Morgan Rich and Baylee Andreasen each had two hits.

LAYTON — Layton scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a walk-off win Monday over Mountain Crest.

MORGAN 3, OGDEN 2 (OT)

MORGAN — Cody Adams scored the golden goal on a Garrett Grow assist in the 90th minute to lift Morgan to a region win Monday over Ogden.

Jett Beckstrom scored on a Beau Johnson assist in the 42nd minute to get Morgan (3-1, 1-0 Region 13) on the board. Max Lane netted the equalizer on another Johnson assist in the 70th minute, forging extra time.

Ben Points scored in the 16th minute to give Ogden (3-2, 0-1) a halftime lead. Gerardo Esquivel scored in the 57th minute on a Luis Velasco assist.

WEBER 4, ST. JOSEPH 1

PLEASANT VIEW — Weber scored four goals after halftime Monday to beat St. Joseph.

Carter Archuleta tallied a goal and an assist for Weber (3-0). Jace Rydalch, Luke Pack and Rhett Hogge each netted once. Conner Gardenhour had two assists.

Alex Hernandez scored for St. Joseph (1-3).
