After Weber State football signed nine players in the early signing period six weeks ago, the Wildcats will add another dozen or so players when the regular signing period opens Wednesday for the 2022 class.

The class received a boost Tuesday when three players from Lone Peak High School, 6A champions and one of the best defenses in Utah last season, committed to Weber State, capped by an evening-time pledge from linebacker/edge hybrid Kao Hansen. Hansen was committed to Utah State until Monday and also held offers from BYU and Colorado State.

Here’s a look at the players who have publicly posted about commitments to Weber State since the early signing period closed, who are expected to sign Wednesday, and a few other targets.
