Elderly woman critically wounded in Ogden auto-pedestrian collision

OGDEN — An elderly woman was hospitalized with critical injuries as a result of an auto-pedestrian collision that occurred in Ogden on Wednesday evening. Lt. Will Farr of the Ogden City Police Department told the Standard-Examiner that officers responded to the 2400 block of Harrison Boulevard just before 8 p.m. after an 87-year-old woman was struck in the crosswalk. A 58-year-old man was reportedly driving a Nissan Rogue eastbound on the 1100 block of 24th Street when he attempted to turn south onto Harrison.
