"The Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Harbor Freight Tools to the Logan area business community," said Sandy Emile, CEO and President, Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce. "We look forward to having another great place for the members of our construction related industries to find the necessary products they need to conduct business."
Harbor Freight's donation to Cache Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVHFH) will be immediately put to use by volunteers building and framing the fourteenth Habitat home in Cache Valley. This home will benefit a single mother and her three children in Hyrum.
"We are very grateful to Harbor Freight Tools for their generosity," said Lucas Martin, Executive Director of Cache Valley Habitat for Humanity. "Without the wonderful support we've received over the years from local businesses like Harbor Freight Tools, we would never have been able to achieve our mission of building hope in our community by helping Cache Valley residents take ownership of decent, affordable homes."
Cache Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVHFH) is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, housing ministry that has built over 400,000 decent, affordable houses and served more than 2 million people around the world. Habitat houses are affordable for low-income families because the homes are modest, energy efficient and no interest charged on the mortgage. Habitat for Humanity began working in the Logan area more than 20 years ago, and Cache Valley Habitat for Humanity was established as an independent affiliate in 2005.
