Wildfire breaks out in Riverdale, I-84 partially closed
RIVERDALE — A fire broke out along the Interstate 84 in Riverdale. According to a traffic alert on the UDOT website, at 1:36 p.m., traffic had been halted on all lanes of eastbound I-84, adjacent to the fire around milepost 81. On the Utah DOT Facebook page, it said: "Fire affecting eastbound I-84. Eastbound I-84 and the southbound I-15 to eastbound I-84 ramp are CLOSED due to a wildfire. Fire crews are on scene.
