Police seek public assistance after attempted robbery at Layton credit union

LAYTON — A suspect is at large after an attempted robbery at a Layton credit union Monday morning, and police are asking for the public’s help in locating him. The incident happened around 10:45 a.m. at the America First Credit Union branch at 425 W. Heritage Park Blvd., according to the Layton Police Department. A man entered the branch and handed a teller a note demanding money, a department news release stated. He fled on foot after the teller refused to comply. Lt.
