Around Utah: Gov. Cox orders flags lowered to half-staff in honor of President Russell M. Nelson

On Tuesday, Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox ordered the flags of the United States of America and the great state of Utah to be flown at half-staff on all state facilities in honor of Russell M. Nelson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Flags should be lowered to the half-staff position at sunrise on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, the date of President Nelson’s funeral, and remain at half-staff until sunset.
