SALT LAKE CITY -- More than 25,000 manufacturers, retailers and suppliers will flood downtown Salt Lake City this week during the annual Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.
The expo will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center Thursday through Sunday.
Business researchers from the University of Utah say the annual event will generate more than $23 million in direct economic impact to Salt Lake City and the state.
Major cycling, backcountry and other equipment suppliers will be represented at the show and display new products that will hit the market next summer.
Noteworthy companies in and around the Salt Lake City area include Scott, Black Diamond Equipment and Backcountry.com.
