Deputy Chief Mike Slater tapped to take over leadership of Ogden City Fire Department
OGDEN — Following a nationwide search, Ogden City has its candidate for fire chief upon the mid-July departure of Chief Mike Mathieu — and it's a familiar face. On Wednesday, Ogden City announced in a press release that Mayor Ben Nadolski will forward Deputy Fire Chief Mike Slater's name to the Ogden City Council as his recommendation for appointment as the next chief of the Ogden City Fire Department.
