OGDEN — The National Cutting Horse Association Western National Championships, presented by the 6666 Ranch, is set to begin April 27 and runs through May 8 at the Golden Spike Arena.
Classes for the $200,000-added event begin each day at 8 a.m. with free admission to the public.
In addition to the cutting action, there will be National Youth Cutting Horse Association activities, a team roping, a golf tournament, a steak fry luncheon and other events.

Exhibitors featuring Western clothing, tack, jewelry, home decor, and more will comprise a trade show for the duration of the Western National Championships.
Qualifications for the Western National Championships are based on competing in weekend shows across the United States and Canada during 2010.
The top 10 qualifiers in each of the 12 NCHA classes from each area and each affiliate are eligible to compete.
