Mary Ann Atencio

Mary Ann Atencio, age 88, passed away surrounded by family on May 18, 2024 in North Ogden, UT. Born Feb. 13, 1936 in Topeka, KS. Mary Ann met & married the love of her life, Leroy Atencio, on May 5,1967.

She is the proud mother of 4 children; Kim, Tracy, Michael & Jon and loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren & 7 great-grandkids.

Mary Ann raised her family in North Ogden & later in life moved to Colorado Springs where she & Leroy made lots of friends.

Mary Ann was a devout Catholic & spent many years working with community through St. James Catholic Church. Her love & dedication to the Lord was demonstrated through her endless kindness & acceptance of all.

Mary Ann enjoyed traveling, cooking, time in nature & especially her friends & family. In her final days, she loved hearing memories from the people who loved her most. Her humor stayed sharp & her love ran deep. She stayed graceful, beautiful & kind until the very end.
