Prep football: Two more Northern Utah standouts sign early
Former Roy star Isaiah Morris commits to Utah Tech

Former Roy High star and three-star wideout Isaiah Morris signed with Utah Tech after sifting through four offers from the Trailblazers, Weber State, Utah State and Idaho State.
Transferring to Corner Canyon as a senior, Morris reeled in 38 passes for 641 yards and five touchdowns as the Chargers (12-1) completed a three-peat of the 6A state title, defeating Lone Peak 35-20 in November.
A year earlier, Morris led a 12-2 Roy team back to the 5A title game vs. Bountiful with 74.5 receiving yards per game (969 yards, 14 touchdowns) in his senior season, and 1,215 career yards as a Royal.
Aaitui signs with Oregon State
Up the road, Layton Christian senior two-way tackle Tanu Aaitui signed with Oregon State last Thursday as a preferred walk-on, becoming the first of 15 Eagles seniors to announce their college plans publicly.
Aaitui finished his prep career with 79 total tackles, including 15 solo tackles along the defensive line in 2025, in addition to 6.0 sacks.
