WASHINGTON TERRACE — Kobe Wade hit a walkoff, two-run single to complete a three-run seventh inning for Bonneville baseball as the Lakers beat Logan 10-9 on Thursday.

Wade had two hits and drove in three runs.

The Grizzlies led 5-0 after three innings only for the Lakers to tie things up at 5-5 after a five-run third.

Logan led 9-5 heading to the bottom of the fifth, where Bonneville plated two runs. Cameron Jones hit a double and had two RBIs, and Spencer Hildebrand had a 2-for-4 day with two RBIs for Bonneville.

FREMONT 12, BOX ELDER 4

PLAIN CITY — Wyatt Howell drove in three runs as Fremont scored all 12 of its runs across the second, third and fourth innings to beat Box Elder.

Brayden Clark went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Sage Wayment drove in two runs for the Silver Wolves.

Tyler Moffitt, Levi Griffin and Stockton Wright drove in a run each for Box Elder.

BEAR RIVER 4, POCATELLO-ID 1

GARLAND — Carson Day had a three-hit game and Wyatt Roholt hit a solo home run as Bear River beat Pocatello (Idaho).

Day, Hadley Davis, Easton Lish and Tyler Hinkle combined on the mound to allow one run on three hits with eight strikeouts.

GREEN CANYON 15, OGDEN 5

OGDEN — Green Canyon led 5-0 before Ogden went to the plate and the Tigers never got closer than four runs in a home loss.

Connor Howard hit 3 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs. GC scored nine runs across the sixth and seventh innings.

SYRACUSE — Mountain Crest scored a run in the top of the seventh inning but Syracuse hung on for a non-region win.

Dylan Hawkes hit two doubles, two RBIs and drew two walks for the Titans. Hunter VanFleet went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs. Jaxson Christiansen pitched four innings for the win.

DESERT HILLS 4, NORTHRIDGE 0

ST. GEORGE — Stockton Cleverly and Reece Moon each tallied a hit to total all of Northridge’s hits against Desert Hills.

Jacob Rhoades pitched five innings, allowed two earned runs and struck out seven batters in the loss.

ROY — Maysa Averett pitched a complete game for Roy as the Royals beat Woods Cross in the teams’ Region 5 opener Thursday.

Jakell Eddy batted 3 for 4 with a triple, double and an RBI for Roy (1-0 Region 5), which had a commanding 7-0 lead following a six-run outburst in the third inning.

Bri Wolfley went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Saige Nielsen hit a two-run home run for the Royals.

Libby Clark batted 3 for 4 and Sadie Bevan hit a two-run homer for Woods Cross (0-1 Region 5).

BOX ELDER 17, VIEWMONT 0

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder took two-and-a-half innings to beat Viewmont on Thursday in the teams’ Region 5 opener.

Kallie Bair and Mickelle Lish both batted 2 for 2 with two RBIs and a walk. Makenna Earley drove in two runs for the Bees.
