SClB2. What political ideals and philosophies guide your decision-making process? SClBComing from an Engineering and Facilities Management background I rely on the time tested approach of a strong foundation is the key to any sustainable project. Understanding how systems work and interact is crucial to making a comfortable environment for the end user. Have transparency at all levels so that all can see that there is no hidden addenda. Simplify where you can and try to avoid complexity. The "KISS" method works here "Keep It Simple Stupid".SClBSClB3. What is the most important issue facing your city? SClBTransparency of government. We need to open the books so to speak.... Over share information to the public, along with providing them video access to most is not all public meetings. Work to reunite the division of the Mayor and Council... work to bring all issues to the table and remember this is not a personal position that we hold but a public.. We should be the ones setting the example.... How can we expect to bring our team together if all the team captains can't sit down and communicate. We need to emphasize that we are first and foremost PUBLIC SERVANTS.SClBSClB4. Name some qualities that you possess that make you a good team worker and able to bring consensus among city leaders. SClBWe need to relate to all people serving the public for Ogden City... is that if one of us fail then we all fail. Our City does not need any more failures !!!! We need to get to a common middle ground, where elected officials and staff alike feel that their back are covered... We can no longer send or staff members out into the city with them knowing that we, the council and Mayor are behind them 100 %. The Mayor needs to Know that he can count on support and leadership from our elected officials. Along with the Elected Officials knowing that they can count on the Mayor. We need to re-establish a mission, goal and direction that has the best interest of the citizens of this great City. Customer Service has to become a city motto. How can we help you!!!! Needs to be our slogan.SClB

-Keeping the quality of life that the average citizen has been accustom too. No only improving the quantity but also the quality of these systems for the future generations...
-Foundation. Working not only with but for our Young People. Providing the best and most up to date recreational facilities.... Providing an alternative to Gang membership.... Partnering with religious, civic and community bases faith organizations to improve existing program and start new one that are inclusive and conducive to the youth having ownership in the community and in the People of their respective neighborhoods. Education has to be a priority, establishing mentoring and community based help programs so that No Child is Left Behind, not only at school but in Life.
