COMING UP

* The groundbreaking ceremony for the Brigham City LDS Temple will be held at 9 a.m. July 31. Boyd K. Packer, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, will preside. Tickets are required to attend the ceremony at the temple site and will be distributed through local priesthood leaders. However, the ceremony will also be broadcast to area stake centers.

* Wasatch Church will hold Vacation Bible School from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 2-6. The school is for children ages 3 years to those entering the fifth grade and will be held at Wasatch Church, 4433 S. 3100 West, Roy. The cost is $5 per child and includes a VBS shirt.
